On October 15, 2021, we are pleased to invite you to a concert by three extraordinary musicians with a great dose of humor.
They will perform before you:
Tomasz Sawicki – guitar and vocals
Jacek Mielcarek – saxophone and vocals
Łukasz Gliniorz – electric piano
It will be a bit lyrical, it will be fun, and if you want, we guarantee a sing-along :) It will be a magical evening!
A few words about the musicians:
Tomasz Sawicki
Author of music, lyrics, sketches, and radio shows. Organizer of numerous concerts and cultural events, including meetings with renowned writers such as William Wharton and Norman Davis. Participant and winner of festivals and reviews, including the Student Song Festival in Kraków, FAMA in Świnoujście, the "Become a Cabaret Star" Festival in Poznań, the OSPA Cabaret Song Festival in Ostrołęka, the Liars' Tournament in Bogatynia, the Student Tourist Song Fair in Szklarska Poręba, and many others.
In his everyday life, he is an entrepreneur, sworn translator and English teacher.
For two years, he hosted the radio program "Pół jestem" (Half a joke) on Radio Opole. For over six years, he organized literary song concerts at the Opole Philharmonic, the Lwowska Cafe, and the Zamkowy Młyn Restaurant in Krapkowice.
So far, he has released three albums: two studio albums "Piosenki z Teczki" (Songs from the Briefcase), "Radość człowiecza" (Human Joy) and a concert album "I niż... live" (And Yet... Live).
Jacek Mielcarek
Saxophonist, clarinetist, and musician playing various folk wind instruments, author of music and lyrics (including the lyrics to Zbigniew Wodecki's song "Kochaj mnie"), singer, and host of numerous radio broadcasts. Member of numerous Polish jazz and folk bands, session musician, and journalist for Radio Opole.
Łukasz Gliniorz
A permanent member of the Day Off band. He has been an accompanist for many Opole artists.
