Moszna Robot Factory – the only museum of its kind
Hello, hello? Any Wally fans here? Or perhaps you're dreaming of meeting Bumblebee? The Robot Factory—a must-see. It's probably the only museum of its kind on Earth! A real wow factor and a truly powerful experience are guaranteed. This unique robot museum is located just a 16-minute drive from our hotel in Zamkowy Młyn.
A bit of Hollywood in Moszna
The robot factory in Moszna is located on Zamkowa Street. It could be said that it is adjacent to Moszna Castle, because these two tourist attractions in the Opole region are less than 1 kilometer apart! The 250-square-meter facility houses several hundred robots. All of them are faithful replicas of film characters. The robots were handcrafted with a passion for science fiction films. Among the tourist attractions in the Opole region, this place deserves special attention. St. Anne's Mountain and Moszna Castle are steeped in history. The Robot Factory, on the other hand, will transport you straight to a Hollywood movie set!
The robot factory in Moszna houses robots 3.5 meters high!
The creator of these unique works and owner of the museum is Sebastian Kucharczyk. This creative resident of the Opole region was a construction worker, but after some time, he turned his hobby into a full-fledged artistic endeavor. All the exhibits were handcrafted in his private workshop. The first robot to be recreated weighs a staggering 480 kg! Sebastian worked on it for 10 months. It was meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail and proudly serves as the original. The constant development of the film industry means that more exhibits are already on the list of projects to be completed. During museum opening hours, Sebastian often talks about his passion and the hours spent in the workshop. He recently started a behind-the-scenes museum vlog!

True masterpieces don't need a design?
Let's start from the beginning... Where does the story of each model begin before it ends up on display in a modern museum? You might be surprised, because... in a scrapyard! After "hunting" in local scrapyards, a talented designer returns to the workshop. Then he cuts, welds, constructs, and paints. The time spent building depends on the size of the robot. The entire creation process takes place in the artist's head and among scenes from fantasy films.
Recycling level master!
An old catalytic converter, an exhaust pipe, pistons from a pneumatic drill – everything gets a second life in Mr. Sebastian's workshop! Most of these items are destined for recycling, and Mr. Sebastian not only "scavenged" them, but also breathed new life into them. Literally! Many of the created figures can move, light up, and even – to the surprise of visitors – make sounds just like the originals in the movies.
The Robot Factory is a masterpiece made from waste
The original Bumblebee is the titular character of the 2018 film. He was made from a yellow Chevrolet Camaro. You can recently admire the robot of the same name in the museum. At first glance, it seems like a faithful copy. However, as it turns out, it has little in common with the Chevrolet. It was created from over 1,000 parts and components, which came from a dozen cars in total. One element of this giant robot comes from… a Polish Maluch! Surprised? We were too!
Selfie with Bumblebee? Only at the Robot Factory in Moszna!
Bumblebee from Moszna weighs 630 kilograms and stands 3 meters tall. You could say it's quite a pile of scrap. However, when scrap falls into the hands of a true artist, true wonders emerge. This exhibit took a staggering 760 hours of workshop time. Quite a lot, right? And this is the story of just one robot among several hundred exhibits on display at the robot factory in Moszna.
Beware of the robot E – it steals the hearts of tourists
In addition to the characters from "Star Wars" and robots reminiscent of the Transformers, the museum also boasts many other exhibits. Among the most noteworthy is the titular character from the 2008 film, Wall-E. His exhibit faithfully replicates the film star, stealing the hearts of not only the youngest visitors. Thanks to its movement and sound, it's a real hit with tourists.

Mr. Sebastian's work is not only about robots
Mr. Sebastian also creates bas-reliefs and modern paintings. He also uses recycled materials to create them: old bicycles, car parts, pieces of aluminum sheet. Each project is different, unique, and expressive. They share only one thing: their origin. The bas-relief elements also come from scrapyards. And thanks to the artist's limitless imagination, one-of-a-kind modern works are created. The robot museum also features many everyday objects made using the same method.
The Moszna Robot Factory is a great attraction for all ages. Both children and their parents are eager to leave the museum. Everyone will find something for themselves there. The inventive owner eagerly shares his passion, inspiring admiration and respect among tourists. So, will you join the ranks of tourists captivated by the robot factory? Or perhaps you're already on your way to this extraordinary museum?
