On January 20, 2023 (Friday), we are pleased to invite you to a concert by a wonderful trio - the band Maryleen.
The group plays exclusively original acoustic music, blending soft music, blues, and jazz. In 2020, Maryleen released their own album, which features 10 songs. Their second solo album will be released soon.
Maryleen's team consists of:
Henryk Vogt – electro-acoustic guitar
Jarosław Malajka – bass guitar
Ewelina Mihułka – vocalist and manager of the group.
In September 2019, they won second place at the 32nd National Review of Tourist Songs, Sung Poetry and Various Arts "Wrzosowisko".
The band has been recognized at several competitions: first place at the Wojtek Belon National Song Festival "Niechaj Zabrzmi Bukowina" in Busko-Zdrój, where they presented two songs, and at the National Tourist Song Festival "SpłyWarka" in Warka, third place at the National Poetic Song Festival "Kwiaty na Kamieniach" in Bytom for the song "Ciszej, wody, tęczenia" (Quieter, Cooler, Longing), and a distinction at the Songs with Character Review during the International Tourist Song Festival "Kropka" in Głuchołazy for the song "Anioł stróżej" (Guardian Angel).
The group's vocalist, Ewelina, draws inspiration from the poetry of Wisława Szymborska, Cyprian Kamil Norwid, and Jan Lechoń. Henryk, on the other hand, listens to classic blues and rock from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, while Jarek most appreciates the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
