Taste, which grows out of the region
Our cuisine draws from the best of Opole Silesia – local flavors, traditional recipes, and a love of grilling.
The menu includes both classic regional dishes and modern BBQ & Grill cuisine – all prepared with the highest quality ingredients from local producers.

- BBQ ribs that mature for hours in fruity smoke.
- Steaks made from dry-aged meat (approx. 8 weeks), grilled over charcoal from the Bieszczady Mountains.
- Cheeses from Obrowiec, trout from Poliwoda, carp from Krzywa Góra, artisanal Szypuła ice cream, liqueurs and spirits from local distillers.
These aren't just random products. It's our conscious decision to promote the flavor of the Opole region and support those who passionately create it.

Chef
Arkadiusz Chwałek is the Executive Chef who has been passionately and wholeheartedly crafting the culinary vision of the Zamkowy Młyn restaurant since 2019. He began his culinary journey in 2007 in England, where he spent 12 years honing his culinary skills. After returning to Poland, he gained experience at Zamek Topacz near Wrocław before taking the helm at Zamkowy Młyn.
Arkadiusz is a true lover of fine dining, treating each dish as a work of art, where exquisite flavors meet extraordinary presentation. His specialty is modern cuisine, drawing inspiration from a wealth of regional produce.

Cold cuts from our smokehouse
At Castle Mill we believe that the best flavors are born from tradition and passionOur cold cuts, which you'll find on the miller's board and at many celebrations, are prepared in-house, using time-tested recipes. They're made without added preservatives and owe their unique flavor to traditional smoking. This makes every bite a true journey back to the flavors of childhood.
Some of our specialties are smoked in traditional smokehouses, and selected meats are prepared using our own BBQ method. We are the only place in the Opole region that offers this combination, creating unique flavors.
